Prior to becoming a mortgage broker I attended UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) and CSUN (California State University, Northridge) receiving a Bachelors and Masters degree, respectively in Political Science and History. I have spent the last six years carefully analyzing lender guidelines and the loan process in order to facilitate the loan process.

The mortgage industry is complex and oftentimes foreign to most people; I pride myself in taking the time to explain the process, the loan, and even the “lingo.” Most importantly I guide myself on one very simple principle: “a mortgage is a powerful tool meant to aide an individual in the long and short run; not hinder.” Because your home is more than just your home (it is your savings, your plans for the future, for your children, for your dreams) my goal is to place you in the best possible loan that will allow you to maximize your investment and get the most enjoyment out of living the dream of home ownership.

With access to a full time staff (each Mortgage Broker at First Capital is assigned an opener, processor, and closer) and easy access with each and every one of our banks account representatives and their underwriting teams is why this wining combination has helped First Capital Mortgage fund more than $3 Billion Dollars in loans last year. In addition we have an automated loan process and the ability to run loan scenarios and quote rates within minutes.

We are not content to simply fund a loan. Our job is not done until we have retained the very best possible rate; this includes credit advising and credit fixing if needed and possible.

Ruth Kremen graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1982 and until 1983 clerked for the Honorable William Bryant, District of Columbia Federal District Court.

She was admitted to practice in both California and Massachusetts in 1983. Upon completing her clerkship, she was a litigation attorney in the Boston firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish. Returning to California, she practiced general civil litigation with Steinhart and Falconer in San Francisco and then business and family law with McGlashan & Sarrail in San Mateo from 1985 to 1991.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 1991, Ms. Kremen has practiced family law exclusively in reflection of her thorough commitment to family interests. She is married with three children.
