Substitute Policy & List Members commit to attending each weeks’ chapter meeting. Whenever members know in advance that they’ll have to miss a meeting, policy requires that they secure a substitute to attend in their place. Substitutes can be someone from your business, a friend, a family member, a visitor, or a BNI member from another chapter. Subs should be provided with the meeting time, day and location, along with what to expect from the meeting and the member’s prepared 60-second commercial. It’s a good practice to have a spare commercial written for emergencies, so you can e-mail it to your sub when needed. Should a last-minute emergency or illness arise, each BNI member is permitted 3 absences from weekly chapter meetings during a given six-month period (April 1 – September 30 or October 1 – March 31st). Below is a list of Business Advantage members who are willing like to volunteer to substitute for you at other BNI chapter meetings. Please contact the members below next time you need a substitute.
